March 30th to April 3rd: Create a PowerPoint with at least 9 Slides with illustrations (no words) illustrating the Requirements, Duties, and Benefits of your Career Speech. Send a professional email with this PowerPoint attached to [email protected] by April 4th, 2020
April 6th to April 10th: You will present your career speech during class: This will be a practice speech and a daily grade. If we are not in school you can create a video using your electronic device and upload to your google drive and then share that file with me [email protected] . This will be due prior to April 12th at midnight.

April 13th to April 17th: Create a resume that would be dated at least 4 years after your high School graduation. Pretend that you have already finished training or college for your chosen future career. Create this resume using the template on Microsoft Word program. Be sure to put your most recent ie. as of year 2026 first then other previous training or experience listed below in chronological order. Attach it to a professionally written email and send to [email protected]

April 20th to APril 24th: Take notes from the two Power Points on Job Interviews below. Send copy of your notes as an attachment in a professional formated email to [email protected]
April 27th to May 1st: CREATE A VIDEO OF YOU CONDUCTING 2 JOB INTERVIEW PRESENTATIONS WITH ONE OTHER PERSON. FIRST YOU WILL BE THE PERSON HIRING AND ASKING QUESTIONS AND THE SECOND INTERVIEW YOU WILL BE THE ONE APPLYING FOR A JOB AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS. SEE SAMPLE QUESTIONS BELOW TO USE DURING THIS INTERVIEW PROCESS: ALSO TAKE THE GET THAT JOB INTERVIEW TEST AND SEND RESULTS TO [email protected] IN A PROFESSIONAL EMAIL. DUE May 1st
May 4 to May 8 Review the Communication Process from the list below. Choose one of the topics below and Write a two page essay elaborating your experience and evaluating the effectiveness of your participation and / or your communication, or thinking process during the experience. Email this essay to [email protected] . this is due May 8th.

Create a 3 minute persuasive speech to motivate people to be involved in a charity or community service of your choice. Save the written persuasive speech to your google drive and share with [email protected] This will be due May 8th by midnight.
